These workshops are for absolute beginners and those who have dabbled with programming and coding. We integrate programming projects and computational thinking (CS Unplugged) activities into fun and hands on sessions.

These workshops are for absolute beginners and those who have dabbled with programming and coding. We integrate programming projects and computational thinking (CS Unplugged) activities into fun and hands on sessions.

This meetup will be delivered in English, however the content will be beneficial to kura Māori also. We invite all Māori medium kaiako to attend as the skills and knowledge covered in these sessions are relevant to Māori medium contexts.

Outcomes How to integrate digital technologies and computational thinking into curriculum areas. Gain an understanding of the fundamentals of programming using age appropriate programming languages.

**Presenter ** Witarina Owens is an experienced Digital Technologies teacher at Kuranui College. She has a particular interest project based learning and cross-curricular integration.
